01 / YOUR COLLECTING TOOLKIT

More than a name.
The whole picture.

Paint changes. Versions matter. Memories get fuzzy. Keep the reference material and your own collection together in one place.

⌖01

A face. A possible name.

Upload an unknown figure and compare the closest visual matches from the reference library. Check the uniform, face and paint before deciding.

PHOTO COMPARISON
▦02

The details make the figure.

Browse records by year and faction. Open a figure’s details, enlarge reference photos and look closer at the release you’re researching.

SEARCHABLE REFERENCE RECORDS
☆03

Your collection, on record.

Add figures to your collection, record condition and notes, and keep track of your wishlist. Add your own records as your archive grows.

PERSONAL COLLECTION TRACKING

THE DIFFERENCE IS IN THE DETAILS

Same character.
Different chapter.

A familiar code name doesn’t always mean the same release. A new sculpt, a different uniform or a subtle colour change can tell a very different story.

The catalogue helps you compare what you see, open individual records and build a better picture of the figure in your hand.

Start exploring ↗
A growing reference library

The built-in photo library starts with selected releases from 1982–1994. Coverage is incomplete; you can add or import records through 2004.

02 / THE MISSION IS SIMPLE

From “who’s this?”
to “there you are.”

Try photo comparison ↗
01

Take the shot.

Photograph one loose figure, head to toe, against a plain background. Good light makes the details easier to compare.

02

Check the candidates.

Review the closest reference photos. Visual similarity is a starting point: confirm the sculpt, colours, year and version yourself.

03

Make it part of your archive.

Add the matching record to your collection, save your notes, then export a backup to keep a copy of your work.

⊕

Your browser. Your collection. Photo comparison runs on your device, with no per-scan API fee. First use downloads a model. Keep backups: browser data does not automatically sync between devices.

03 / FIELD NOTES

A little intel
before you go.

For the lifelong collector.
And the “I used to have that one” collector.

Is this the complete G.I. Joe database?+

It’s a growing catalogue, with a starter selection of reference-photo records. It does not cover every release. You can expand your archive by adding figures or importing compatible records.

Will a photo identify any figure?+

Photo comparison suggests visually similar records from the available reference library. It is not a guaranteed identification. Figures outside that library may have no correct match, so always review the details before saving.

Can I add and edit figure information?+

Yes. Open a figure’s details to review or edit its record, add your own figures and reference photos, and record personal collection information such as condition and notes.

Can I move my collection to another device?+

Use the catalogue’s export and import tools to transfer a backup. Your personal collection is stored in the browser you use; it is not a shared cloud database and does not automatically follow you to another browser or domain.

YOUR NEXT DISCOVERY IS ALREADY IN THE BOX.

Give every figure
a place in the story.
